2001 American Eagle Silver Proof One Ounce Coin (Z16)

The American Eagle Proof Coins are collector versions of the official United States Mint American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins. The Silver Proof Coin is only available in the one-ounce size. The obverse design is Adolph A. Weinman’s full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the American flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left hand. The reverse design, by United States Mint sculptor/engraver John Mercanti, features a striking heraldic eagle with shield, and olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left talon. The 2001 American Eagle Silver Proof Coin is packaged in a blue velvet, satin-line presentation case and accompanied by a custom-designed Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Acting Director of the United States Mint. $34.95

2006 Golden Dollar, 25-Coin Roll, Philadelphia (5M7)

This 2006 Golden Dollar Roll contains 25 coins and is wrapped with specially designed yellow and black coin paper. These Golden Dollar coins are of circulating quality, minted at the United States Mint at Philadelphia and have a "P" mint mark.

The obverse of the Golden Dollar coin features the likeness of Sacagawea, the young Shoshone woman who assisted Lewis and Clark on their expedition to the Pacific Northwest more than 200 years ago. The reverse design of the coin features a soaring bald eagle and 17 stars, one for each of the states at the time of the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Benjamin Franklin "Scientist" Proof Silver Dollar (BN1)

One of two silver dollars celebrating the tercentenary of Benjamin Franklin's birth, the "Scientist" coin recreates on its obverse a rendition of Franklin and his legendary kite experiment. The reverse of this coin, in a tribute to Franklin's role as a patriot and statesman, features a recreation of his political cartoon, "Join, or Die." The proof coin has a brilliant mirror-like finish. The term "proof" refers to a specialized minting process, which begins by manually feeding burnished coin planchets into presses fitted with specially polished dies. Each coin is packaged in a presentation case and is accompanied by its own official Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Acting Director of the United States Mint.

The second silver dollar in the Benjamin Franklin program, "Founding Father" features a familiar image of Franklin in his later years. The image is based on a bust originally executed by French sculptor Jean-Antoine Houdon in 1778. The reverse of this coin features a replica of a 1776 Continental Currency dollar, in honor of Franklin's contributions to the development of our Nation's coinage and currency. 2005 American Eagle Gold Proof Four-Coin Set (Z55)

The American Eagle Gold Proof Coins are collector versions of the official United States Mint American Eagle Bullion Coins and are available in four sizes - one ounce, one-half ounce, one-quarter ounce, and one-tenth ounce sizes as well as a four-coin set which contains one coin in each denomination.
